InfoGroup has named Thomas W. Oberdorf as chief financial officer and
Thomas J. McAlister as chief information officer.
Oberdorf previously served in that capacity at Getty Images Inc. He has also held similar positions at Moduslink, formerly known as CMGI.
According to InfoGroup, the naming of a new CFO was part of the July settlement of shareholder litigation. Oberdorf will report to CEO Bill Fairfield.
McAlister has worked in similar capacities for Metrogroup Corp., JPMorgan Chase and Ameritrade Holding Corp. He will be responsible for managing enterprise technology and will develop an enterprise-wise information technology strategy for the company.
