Infographic: Social Commerce: A Look at the Numbers

Eventbrite, an online service that allows people to create, share and join events, shared its findings in its follow-up to a 2010 report on social commerce. In this year’s version, Eventbrite found the following information:

  • The average dollars per share across Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn rose 81 percent, from $1.78 to $3.23
  • Facebook boasts the highest dollars per share with $4.15, which means that every time an event is shared on Facebook, it drives an average of $4.15 in additional revenue back to the organizer
  • Twitter boasts the most visits per share with 33
  • Twitter drives 33 visits back to event pages per social share
