IMSI Acquires Aladdin Systems for $8 Million

IMSI, an Internet software developer, will acquire Aladdin Systems for $8 million in cash and stock.

Aladdin develops software that helps protect users in the areas of information access, removal, recovery, security and distribution of data, including StuffIt, Internet Cleanup, Spring Cleaning, and SpamCatcher, Ten for X utility line. The transaction is expected to close in March.
