Unilever is letting people play with its I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter brand with a game show style promotion and sweepstakes for a chance to win $1 million.

People visit http://www.nowyouknowbetter.com/ through March 31 and play the “Now You Know Better” online game hosted by actor John O’Hurley. In each round, players earn points by answering trivia questions by matching the two correct responses. And for every round completed, people will earn one entry into the sweepstakes.

Players who finish all five levels will receive five sweeps entries. Additional entries can be earned by referring friends to the site, the company said.

An instant-win component lets players win more than 1,000 prizes, including spa getaway weekends, cookware or Hamilton appliances.

Unilever will stage a grand-prize event with sweepstakes finalists in New York where it will reveal the $1 million winner. Event details were unavailable.

The interactive Web site also lets visitors find product information and print coupons and recipes.

TV spots and online marketing supports the promotion. Blockdot, Inc. created the game; Don Jagoda oversees the game for Unilever.
