How to Set up a Conversion Funnel in Google Analytics in 6 Steps

Posted on

FunnelA conversion funnel is the “graphical report representing a series of pages or steps that a user visits before converting.” Setting one up in Google Analytics just requires a minute of your time. Before getting started, define your website goal and know how to track it. Also, you’ll need a URL destination, like a “Thank You” page. The six steps are: 1) log in; 2) click the “Admin” tab and select your property; 3) click on the profile you want the funnel applied to; 4) click on “Goals” and add a goal; 5) add a goal name, type and details, then check “Use Funnel”; 6) add your desired funnel steps.
