While Groupon’s overall struggles and rumored acquisition by Google have been well-documented, let’s take a look at how Groupon is faring in Chicago, its hometown. To do this, we’ll use numbers from Savvr, a data intelligence company that focuses on the daily-deals industry.

Gross billings
According to Savvr, Groupon has raked in billings of $4.6 million in its hometown in the last 30 days, up 1.2 percent from the same time last year.
