Hilton Hotels Builds Online Rewards Store

Members of the Hilton HHonors’s loyalty club need no longer spend much time pondering their rewards options.

Hilton Hotels has struck a partnership with Maritz to open an online Hilton HHonors Rewards Store with a swank selection of goods cutting a wide swath from golf clubs to high definition TVs.

The Web site, http://www.hiltonhonors .com/shopping, provides a catalogue of 5,500 products in all from brands such as Apple, Sony, Canon, Movado, KitchenAid, Tumi and Dooney & Bourke. Gift cards are also available from 35 companies, including Saks Fifth Avenue, Best Buy, Bloomingdales, Border’s, Macy’s, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Harry & David.

Regular customers can set up personalized wish lists, and a toll-free service number is available for those who prefer personalized service.

The online store adds another dimension to Hilton’s menu of experience rewards, which still include extreme and lifestyle activities, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Introduction of the new online Hilton store was timed to coincide with the advent of the holiday shopping season.

“Members can now access the online store to redeem points for all kinds of merchandise or even purchase gifts for their loved ones just in time for the holidays,” said Adam Bourke, senior vice president of customer loyalty for Hilton Hotels Corp.
