Hardee’s has launched the My Coke Rewards loyalty rewards program at its restaurants. Customers who participate will join the more than 14 million members in the program.

Customers who buy a large fountain soda receive the beverage in a specially marked cup that includes two offers: My Coke rewards points and a peel-off coupon for a free or discounted items at Hardee’s during their next visit.

More than 50 million My Coke Reward points are expected to be given out during the promotion, including two grand prizes of 10,000 points each.

Carl’s Jr., Hardee’s sister company, is already offering the My Coke Rewards program at its restaurants.

The Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s program work similarly to Coke’s standard program where consumers register then collect codes from bottle caps and packaging across the entire Coke portfolio to bank online and later redeem for rewards that range from magazine subscriptions to cruises for two.

“This really is just another way for us to say thanks to our guests for coming in and for coming back,” said Steve Lemley, senior vice president of marketing at Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s.

My Coke Rewards launched in 2006 and on average, 20,000 rewards are redeemed daily on the site, which is seen by 4.5 million unique visitors every month.
