Hanes Canada Launches Instant Win Games

Hanes Canada has launched an instant-win game offering the chance to win one of three $25,000 grand prizes.

The $25,000 Cash for Comfort Promotion pushes customers in store to obtain 12-digit UPC codes from Hanes products. People register and then enter the codes online for a chance to win.

Once registered, people play an interactive game in which they click on as many flashing Hanes items as they can before the computer stops them. If a player collects all 12 items, he or she is eligible to win one of the three grand prizes. Entrants who collect eight items are eligible to win one of 100 LCD portable DVD players

Players enter at CashforComfort.Hanes.ca through Sept. 8.

The goals behind the promotion are to boost in-store traffic, drive sales and build a customer database for ongoing marketing in Canada, the company said.

““We were looking for a fun way to engage and interact with consumers and encourage them to visit our retailers,” said Roslyn Griner, vice resident marketing and product development, Hanesbrands Inc., in a statement. “With this promotion, we are able to reward consumers for choosing our products.”

DraftFCB Montréal designed the game and handled the creative, while SCAinteractive, oversees the administration.
