Google recently released their list of the top 10 fastest growing search terms of 2008, compared to 2007.

- youtube
- fox news
- palin
- beijing 2008
- david cook
- surf the channel
Three of these terms are politics-related, while Steve Jobs is responsible for two of them being up there, and the last one is a bit of a surprise, and is sure to be a tickler for Hulu.
ESPN partnered with Google to unveil the list of the fastest-rising sports-related searches for 2008.

- Celtics
- Lakers
- Wimbledon 2008
- Tampa Bay Rays
- World Golf Tour
- UFC 91
The article also details the top five sports-related search terms for each month, January through November 2008.
Golf, tennis and college sports each topped two months.
