GameStop Corp., the online marketer and retailer of video games and software, will purchase The Gamesman, New Zealand’s largest independent gaming specialist.
Terms were not disclosed.
The eight Gamesman video game stores will expand GameStop’s presence in New Zealand to a total of 38 stores, bringing the total store count to 308 in Australia and New Zealand.
The deal is expected to close in mid-July.
