Embassy Suites Hotels Launches Photo Contest

Embassy Suites Hotels is out with a new photo contest that seeks out fun family vacation moments, offering the chance to win a trip to Hawaii.

Photos that capture the theme of “Happiness in Motion” can be entered at EmbassySnapHappy.com. Entrants must write a short caption describing each image.

“It’s important for families to create memories,” said John Lee, vice president of brand marketing for Embassy Suites. “The Snap Happy program we have speaks to that notion, going back to families and having fun.”

Dozens of photos have been submitted for the Snap Happy Contest, which runs through Sept. 3. Last year, Embassy Suites received 3,600 photos for the promotion.

One grand-prize winner will receive a trip for four to Embassy Suites Hotel—Wakki Beach Walk in Hawaii. The package includes airfare, $500 in spending money, tour packages and a Canon digital camcorder. Ten first-prize winners will receive a Canon Powershot digital camera.

On the site, visitors can download travel games find travel music and virtual photo postcards to send to friends and family members.

Print ads in USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, leisure and travel magazines and online marketing supports the contest.
