DoubleClick VP Resigns
Wenda Harris Millard, one of DoubleClick’s top executives, has left the firm to run Ziff-Davis Internet, a subsidiary of Ziff-Davis Media. The appointment took effect Dec. 11. Millard, 46, an executive vice president, joined DoubleClick in 1996 as one of its founding members. Last November, she was chosen to head its global media division. Ziff-Davis Internet has named Millard president. Her responsibilities include Internet content programming, partnership development and sales and marketing. She will also serve as chief Internet officer of the parent company and become a board member. At DoubleClick, Millard most recently oversaw DoubleClick Media, where she led the unit’s 400-person advertising sales operation and managed relationships with Web publishers. Last month DoubleClick also released plans to cut about 10% of its work force, or between 120 and 170 employees.
