DMA to Unveil DMA Choice Preference Service

The Direct Marketing Association is unveiling sweeping changes to its Mail Preference Service at the fall conference in Las Vegas, DMA president John Greco said in an e-mail to members last week.

No longer will there be a global opt out for prospects, Greco wrote in his message. Rather, the new service dubbed DMAchoice will offer consumers categories, such as magazines and catalogs, from which to opt out, and links to chosen marketers
