D&B Acquires Three Italian Data Firms for $8 Million

D&B has acquired controlling interests in three privately-held Italian real estate data companies for $8 million.

The information compiler giant bought 100% interests in Italservice Bologna S.r.l. and Datanet S.r.l. and a 51% interest in RDS S.r.l.

Italservice Bologna, Datanet and RDS, based in Bologna, Rome and Naples, respectively, collect and provide commercial and personal real estate data for several regions of Italy that’s by banks, notaries, real estate agencies and corporations in the country.

These firms will now operate as part of Data House S.p.A., the Italian real estate information provider that D&B acquired last August. D&B said the addition of these three companies and their databases will allow Data House to provide real estate information covering virtually the entire Italian mainland.
