Data Warehousing Spending to Grow 74%

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Businesses will increase their annual spending by nearly 74% in the next three years on data warehousing and business intelligence systems, according to market research firm Survey.com.

The study revealed that businesses of all sizes continue to make sizeable investments in data warehousing and BI projects. Average current annual spending of just over $480,000 within three years will rise to well over $800,000.

In addition, the study revealed that the many small systems that are being implemented will grow rapidly in size and scope, just as the number of existing solutions is expanding. This will reportedly drive demand for more products and services, particularly for packaged software and storage.
