Cyndi Lee Heads to ALC
American List Counsel Inc. (ALC), Princeton, NJ, has named Cyndi Lee vice president of data management. Lee will be opening a new list management office in the firm’s Stamford, CT, facility. The position takes effect May 29.
Lee will be responsible for building a list management team and a portfolio of clients, said Fran Green, president of data management for ALC.
Lee began her career with Direct Media Inc., Greenwich, CT, in 1984, as an assistant in list brokerage. Most recently she worked as vice president of sales in Internet marketing. During the majority of her years with the firm Lee worked in list management specializing in publishing, Lee said. While with Direct Media, she also spent two years in London heading up list management and brokerage operations. During a short departure from Direct Media in 1999, Lee joined Mount Arlington, NJ-based risk management firm The Credit Index as vice president of sales.
“We have an initiative here at ALC called the best and brightest to attract the leaders in the industry to work at ALC,” Green said. “We’ve designed our systems to be portable which allows us the flexibility to set up really good people, where they want to be. Cyndi has been on my short list of industry leaders that we’d like to have on the team.”
The Stamford office also houses list brokerage and interactive marketing services provider Impower Inc.
