Coors Returns its Silver Ticket Program

Coors Light, the official beer sponsor of the National Football League, is reviving its National Football League ticket giveaway and adding four new teams to its sponsorship roster.

Through the Silver Ticket loyalty program, people can win NFL tickets, NFL experiences, including a trip to the NFL Draft, and thousands of other NFL prizes by getting their entry in packages of Coors Light and Coors.

The codes can be entered at CoorsLight.com through Oct. 3 and can be found at retail stores in specially marked can and bottle packages, on pint sleeves at participating bars and restaurants, or at the Web site.

“Through our sponsorship of the National Football League, we have shown not only a love for the game, but also an understanding of the power of the NFL to reach adult beer drinkers,” said Bryce McTavish, vice president of channel and sponsorship marketing for Coors Brewing in a statement.

The new partnerships include the New York Giants and the Tennessee Titans. The company is also broadening its relationship with the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers, beginning with the 2007-2008 season. The deals allow Coors the right to use the teams name and logo in advertising, promotional activities and packaging, as well as media placements during radio broadcasts of games.

Coors Light is also extending its deals with the New England Patriots and Oakland Raiders and is also a sponsor of the Denver Broncos, New Orleans Saints and San Diego Chargers.
