Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

CDC Software Corp. will acquire a majority stake in Hejia Software Technology Technology Co. Ltd. of Beijing.

Hejia Software Technology is a software vendor which focuses on the Chinese market. The company has offices in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Changzhou, and other locations throughout China. The company’s main product, HJSOFT, is a Web-based solution which provides supply chain management, ERP, quality assurance, financial management, and customer relationship management.

The stake acquisition is scheduled to take place in three waves, which should be completed before March 31, 2012. The purchases will leave CDC with a 51% share of Hejia.

If the transaction is completed, Hejia Software is expected to resell CDC Software’s Ross ERP, CDC Supply Chain and CDC Platinum HRM through an OEM partnership in mainland China, and Hejia is also expected to leverage CDC Software’s extensive global infrastructure to expand sales of its own products.

Last year, CDC acquired a stake in Integrated Solutions Ltd., a Chinese provider of enterprise resource planning solutions for small- and mid-sized manufacturers. CDC Software currently has seven other partners located in India, China, South America, Spain and Mexico.

CDC Software expects to continue to pursue other strategic investments in China.
