Budget Rent A Car System, Inc. is trying to boost sales with a summer coupon booklet offer.

People who rent from participating Budget airport and other locations will receive a free copy of the Budget “Best Trip Ever” money-saving coupon booklet. It contains deals and special offers on a variety of products and services, including discounts on Budget truck rentals, Dunkin’ Donuts’ and Baskin-Robbins’ coupons and offers for kids’ meals and dessert at Perkins Restaurant and Bakery.

In addition, the booklet includes kids’ games and activities from My Wonderful World, a National Geographic-sponsored campaign meant to boost kids’ global geography knowledge. Games include “Sights to See,” a crossword puzzle filled with popular tourist attractions in the country, “Jokes for the Road” and “Back Seat Bingo.”

The booklet will be available through Aug. 15.

As part of the company’s partnership with National Geographic, Budget has launched a sweepstakes offering the chance to win one of eight $1,000 U.S. Savings Bonds.

Players of the Budget Geo Brain Game sweepstakes must successfully answer 10 geography questions provided by National Geographic. People with the correct responses will be entered into a sweepstakes drawing for the savings bonds.

The sweeps, which runs through July 27 and is promoted in the booklet, is available at MyWonderfulWorld.org.

Budget joined the My Wonderful World campaign in 2006. The purpose of five-year multimedia campaign is to improve geography literacy among people ages eight to 17 by motivating parents and educators to expand geographic educational offerings in schools and in their communities.
