Bride’s Magazine and WeddingChannel.com in Marketing Partnership

BRIDE’S Magazine and WeddingChannel.com have agreed to a marketing partnership. The deal includes the creation of a BRIDE’S Magazine feature on WeddingChannel.com, as well as numerous cross-promotional and marketing opportunities. The agreement allows BRIDE’S to its readership the resources of WeddingChannel.com. In addition, BRIDES’ advertisers will have powerful access to tens of thousands of brides-to-be registered on WeddingChannel.com. This partnership also extends the reach of WeddingChannel.com to offline print media and grassroots events.

The partnership brings together Conde Nast, with MacAndrews & Forbes Holdings Inc., which made a strategic investment in WeddingChannel.com in May, 1998, representing the company’s first foray into the online arena.

The centerpiece of the deal is “WeddingChannel.com Featuring The Best of BRIDE’S Magazine,” an online feature that includes exclusive content and features such as a customized wedding planning calendar, “Bride’s On Location” bridal fair information, and a BRIDE’S Beauty Bag offer filled with beauty products.

WeddingChannel.com offers participating brides and grooms the easy ability to establish and maintain their own bridal Web page, an extensive online gift registry and additional personalized wedding planning tools.
