Best Western Ties Instant-Win Game to Loyalty

Best Western is out with an instant-win game designed to boost membership of its loyalty program.

The “Daily Jackpot Instant Win Game” lets players vie for daily chances to win a host of prizes, including $100 Best Western travel gift cards, laptop computers, digital cameras and game consoles.

Players register at BestWestern.com. To play, people take a spin on a virtual slot machine and match three of a kind images for the chance to win. One prize will be given away each day through Oct. 4.

One goal behind the promotion is to increase membership of Best Western’s Gold Crown Club International loyalty program. Players who sign up for the program receive 10 points for every dollar spent and can receive additional offers.

In addition, the company wants to build awareness of its business site and amenities and of its Knock, Knock tool, a downloadable desktop application that lets users retrieve information on Best Western’s loyalty program and hotel specials.

Interactive promotion agency ePrize created the promotion. Banners ads, online marketing and e-mail blasts support the game.
