Norwegian Cruise Lines Corp. is taking consumers for a ride as part of a new sweepstakes tied to NBC’s The Apprentice.
The Miami-based cruise line company became the latest brand featured in a sponsorship deal on the hit show. During last night’s episode, teams were tasked with creating a 30-second spot for Freestyle Cruising highlighting the company’s newest ship, Norwegian Jewel. The ship offers a new style of accommodations—10 Courtyard villas and two garden villas, in addition to 10 restaurants, three swimming pools and a state-of-the-art spa.
The brand integration effort marks Norwegian Cruise Lines’ first-ever task sponsorship on The Apprentice.
To further extend its brand, the company launched a nationwide sweepstakes dangling a chance to win a Norwegian cruise and trip to New York. To enter the Your Hired sweeps, consumers watch a micro-media presentation on NCL.com and those who correctly answer three questions will be automatically entered in the sweepstakes.
One grand-prize winner gets a trip for trip two to New York, three nights at the Trump Hotel and a choice of a six-day or seven-day cruise aboard the Norwegian M/S Dawn or M/S Norwegian Spirit valued at $10,000. Ten first-place winners get a seven-day cruise for two anywhere Norwegian Cruise line sails.
The sweepstakes, open to consumers 18 and older in the U.S. and Canada, runs through April 3. Online materials support.
