Amazon, Once Again, Tops the BrandIndex 10 Best-Perceived Brands

YouGovBrand Index, which tracks the perception of thousands of brands across dozens of sectors simultaneously, has released its 2016 mid-year review.

BrandIndex Top 10 Best-Perception BrandsMedia and technology brands topped the list with Amazon ranking No. 1 for the second year in a row. Netflix repeated the No. 2 slot keeping people buzzing about hits like “Orange is the New Black” and the “Making A Murder.” YouTube, Google and Samsung rounded out the top five. Each of the 10 companies ranked is paired with a short description of why they made the ranking.

To develop the BrandIndex 10 Best-Perceived Brands, it interview thousands of consumers every day, yielding over 2.5 million interviews a year, the company said. The perception of numerous values are tracked, including buzz, value, reputation, customer satisfaction, brand awareness and quality. Check out the ranking.
