Internet advertising and media company 24/7 Media Inc., New York, has formed an alliance with i3 Mobile to market targeted, permission-based ads to mobile phones and other wireless devices.
I3 Mobile provides wireless Internet services to more than 700,000 users through arrangements with over 20 wireless carriers and media networks.
As part of the agreement, 24/7 will represent i3’s inventory of wireless advertisements and sell opt-in advertising to 24/7 advertisers and agencies. In addition, i3 will act as a ” preferred” partner in providing wireless services to 24/7 advertisers and content publishers.
