Travelzoo, an online travel deals firm, has named Max Rayner chief information officer, effective Nov. 5. His responsibilities will include overseeing IT functions, including software development and information management.
Rayner will report to chairman and CEO Ralph Bartel. Rayner joins Travelzoo from SurfControl, where he served as executive vice president of products and services and CIO since 2005. Before that, he was vice president of sytems architecture at Salesforce.com.
