A new search engine marketing services company, Dentsu Search & Link has been formed in Japan by New York-based 24/7 Real Media Inc. and Cyber Communications Inc. (CCI) of Toyko.
The venture, which combines subsidiaries of each company, is intended to leverage CCI’s client relationships in Japan, with licensed search management technology from 24/7.
The deal merges Dentsu E-Link Inc. and K.K. 24-7 Search. Japan’s largest advertising agency Dentsu Inc., which owns shares in both companies, will remain a shareholder in the new entity. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
The new firm will provide services for CCI’s and Dentsu’s agency clients, while expanding 24/7 Real Media’s technology presence in Japan.
Takeshi Matsuoka, director and president of KK 24-7 Search will serve as president and CEO for Dentsu Search & Link.
