Zammarchi takes the position in November, replacing Barry Kessel, who becomes chief client development officer, a new post. Kessel will serve Wunderman's current U.S.-based clients with global expansion plans, including AT&T Wireless, Gannett and Novartis. He remains in the New York office.
Rick Schreuder will replace Zammarchi as president of the Chicago office. He had been senior VP-director of client services. Schreuder led the Burger King business, which has grown from merchandising to include promotions, direct marketing, database services, field and event marketing. Schreuder also led the office's customer-relationship management initiatives.
Wunderman ranked No. 31 in the 2004 PROMO 100 with estimated 2003 net revenues of $189 million, up 9% from 2001.
