George Wiedemann, who founded Grey Direct over 20 years ago, will leave the agency to become chief executive officer of Responsys.com, a Palo Alto, CA-based platform provider for online direct marketing. Wiedemann will assume his new position on October 9.
Replacing Wiedemann as chairman and chief executive officer at Grey Direct will be Lawrence Kimmel. Kimmel had been president of Grey Direct/New York. He joined the agency in 1998.
