Tiffany & Co. suffered a 1% decline in second-quarter sales despite an 6% uptick in direct marketing revenue.
The luxury jewelry retailer reported sales of $371.3 million, compared with $373.4 million for the same period last year. The quarter ended on July 31.
Net sales for the first half slid by 2% to $707 million, compared with last year.
Direct marketing sales totaled $34.5 million in the second quarter. And they rose by 8$–to $65.5 million
