Scholastic Book Clubs has named Ann Marie Resnick to the newly created position of VP-marketing and promotion.
Resnick will oversee the development and implementation of promotional and marketing programs and tactics for Scholastic Book Clubs' 13 monthly book club catalogs. She will report to David Vozar, senior VP-Scholastic Book Clubs.
Most recently, she was VP-marketing at Columbia House, where she developed marketing strategies and launched initiatives to streamline promotions for both print and online. She has also worked in marketing posts at ZanyBrainy.com.
For 56 years, Scholastic Book Clubs, a division of Scholastic, the global children's publishing and media company, has provided the monthly catalogs to teachers in pre-school through high-school for 56 years. The clubs reach more than 1 million teachers each month.
