Online diet site eDiets.com awarded its postal files to Atlanta list firm Response Media Products Inc., effective Feb. 4.
The list includes a half-million-name list of active paid members, which includes 200,000 active ediets.com members and 100,000 recent expires. The file also includes a quarterly hotline of 120,000; and a monthly hotline of 40,000 records.
A second file is the 2.3 million-name eDiets subscriber file, which identifies subscribers to the site’s biweekly newsletter, eDiets Diet & Fitness News. These subscribers opted in for the online publication and for third-party offers. A data card was not available for this file at press time.
Founded in 1996, eDiets.com offers customized weight-loss programs online. Customers register online and provide their names and postal addresses. They spent an average of $100 for their eDiets membership, and paid by credit card. Members are between 25 and 55 and have an average income of $55,000.
Usage for the members file includes Rapaport Publishing, American Diabetes Association, America Online, Weider Publisher and Mars/M&M. Selections include Gender, age, height, weight, diet type, state/SCF/ZIP. The base price per thousand of the active paid members is $90. The previous manager was List Services Inc.
