Reebok International named Dennis Baldwin, 35, CMO for the Reebok brand, replacing Muktesh "Micky" Pant, 49, who leaves Reebok to establish a business that connects him to his roots in India.
Reebok's global brand marketing platform is not expected to undergo any significant changes. For the past 18 months, Pant and President-CEO Jay Margolis have worked closely with Arnell Group, New York City, on marketing initiatives. Pant will work with Baldwin over several weeks to ensure a smooth transition.
Baldwin had been senior VP-global footwear since 2001; he joined Reebok in 1995 as marketing manager in the Licensing and New Business Development group. Canton, MA-based Reebok is looking in and outside the company for Baldwin's successor.
