Jacques Mallette has been appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer of Quebecor Inc. Mallette replaces Claude Hélie, who since January 2003 has been employed in a similar capacity with the company’s Quebecor World Inc. subsidiary.
Mallette had been the president and chief executive officer of Cascades Groupe Carton Plat Inc., where he held the position of vice president and chief financial officer. Mallette’s appointment is effective March 24.
Montreal-based Quebecor operates Quebecor World Inc., a commercial printing company, and Quebecor Media Inc., which runs companies in numerous media-related businesses.
