Pitney Bowes Inc. has acquired the assets of International Mail Express Inc. for $29 million.

As a result of the acquisition Pitney Bowes plans to offer expanded mail services, Michael J. Critelli, chairman and CEO of Pitney said in a statement.
International Mail Express is slated to become part of Pitney’s global mailstream solutions unit and operate under its current management.
