A group of licensed pharmacists who were leaders of the Wisconsin Independent Pharmacy Buying Group have launched a company called USGenerics, according to the Milwaukee Business Journal.
The company will provide generic drugs approved by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration to customers through mail order and online purchases.
USGenerics specializes in generic drugs and does not honor insurance plans. The company recently developed the FreeChoice Drug Plan, which encourages customers to work with their physicians to replace brand-name drugs with lower-cost generic prescriptions.
