Office Depot Inc., the office supplies marketer based in Delray Beach, FL. has launched a European business services division. Beginning this week in the U.K., the firm said it will now be able to better service medium-to-large-sized corporate accounts in Europe through its Viking catalog division, overnight order fulfillment and through specialized sales forces and individualized pricing.
The unit will be headed up by Rob Vale, vice president of the European business services division. The company currently has a sales force of 30 in the U.K. and plans to eventually expand throughout the European continent.
