Within the company’s North American Delivery unit – which consists of Staples Contract, Staples Business Delivery and Quill – operating profit rose 9.4%, outstripping the retail unit’s growth. North American Delivery activities include special units that target Fortune 1000 as well as small- and medium-sized businesses. The unit also oversees autoreplenish programs.
