NBC UNIVERSAL and AMERICAN EXPRESS: have announced three small business finalists in its “Shine A Light” program: Beacon Paint & Hardware (New York, NY), HappyBaby (Brooklyn, NY) and Sacred Wind Communications, Inc. (Albuquerque, NM). The finalists each receive $10,000 and will be up for a public vote to potentially win $100,000 in grant and marketing support. Through Oct. 16, people can vote online. The three finalists were chosen from more than 4,000 small businesses nominated from across the country for the program.
