NewRoads will take over APL’s 300,000 square-foot facility in Hebron KY.

With this purchase, Greenwich, CT-based New Roads will have more than 2.5 million square feet of space.

According to NewRoads president Fred Forsyth, NewRoads employs 4,000 people, with seasonal fluctuations up and down. Forsyth couldn’t say how many people would be joining from APL, but he said the firm would be creating additional jobs at the Kentucky facility.

APL is a division of Singapore-based NOL Group. It has 4,500 employees worldwide.

NewRoads has two primary owners—Accretive Technology Partners and Deutsche Bank Partners, according to Forsyth. Its clients include Procter & Gamble, Restoration Hardware, Godiva Chocolatier and American Eagle Outfitters.

The firm has annual revenue of over $100 million.
