Ultimate TV mobile unit swings by Intertec's office.
Intertec's Stamford office wrapped up last week with a visit from Microsoft Corp.!

Microsoft is taking its branding on the road this summer with a national mobile tour supporting the rollout of new digital video recorder Ultimate TV. The Ultimate TV tour is running in 11 markets including Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles -- AND JUST FOR PROMO Magazine, 11 RIVERBEND DRIVE SOUTH!
Microsoft on June 15 brought its Ultimate TV mobile unit -- which unfolds into demo living rooms filled with TVs, and other digital gadgets -- to the Intertec Stamford office.
They set up in the parking lot from 11am until 12:30pm, giving PROMO editors (and a crowd of other Intertec folks) a look at how Microsoft is getting face-to-face with consumers and teaching them about its new product, which allows users to record and pause live television and access the Internet. An on-site sweepstakes handing out a free motorcycle supported the activities and excitement for Intertec employees (free T-shirts and pretzels were also distributed).
The 85-degree temperatures didn't cool the excitement. The experience gave employees a chance to check out the product and the creative way Microsoft is bringing it to market. It also gave some interesting insight into the industry PROMO covers.
