Beginning today, these firms will begin sharing their auction items, giving consumers a much larger database from which to choose, according to Lycos.
The network, run by FairMarket Inc., Woburn, MA, will reportedly function like a virtual warehouse to which member sites will link their own auctions, in contrast o eBay's single marketplace.
