He will develop promotion-based radio campaigns.
Sametz is a Chicago agency veteran who worked at Lee Hill, Inc. (now part of Draft) and William A. Robinson (now Robinson & Maites). He had been director of promotions for Marvel Entertainment.
Interep is adding promotions expertise to its core competency of selling spot radio ad time.
Interep is based in Chicago and has offices in 17 cities. It owns seven radio sales divisions including ABC Radio Sales.
