H&R Block Debuts DRTV, Print Campaign

Tax preparation and financial services giant H&R Block has launched the first wave in a multi-million dollar direct response advertising campaign for its financial advice division.

The Kansas City, MO-based company’s will run three different 30-second spots on cable outlets CNBC, CNN, CNNfn. Fox News and MSNBC said Emily Schroeder-Orvik, an account executive with Campbell Mithun, Block’s agency.

At deadline, Block was still negotiating the particulars of a companion direct response print campaign, though she hinted it may involve daily newspapers around the nation.
