San Antonio-based Harte-Hanks revenue grew 19.9% to $461.7 million for the six months ended June 30. Revenue for the like period last year was $385 million. Net income for the six-month period grew from $34 million to $39 million.
Direct marketing grew 23.5% in both revenues and cash flow in the quarter. Larry Franklin, chairman and CEO attributed the increase to “good organic growth” and the October 1999 acquisition of Harte-Hanks Market Intelligence, which “helped broaden customer relationship management capabilities.”
