Go Daddy is expanding its call center operations by opening a new facility in Gilbert, AZ, According to the Arizona Republic. The Web site domain-registration firm’s new center will initially house between 200 and 225 employees, but plans call for the 40,000-square-foot facility to contain between 600 and 750 workers.
Most of the firm’s 616 employees are currently based in locations in its Scottsdale headquarters, or in Phoenix. The majority of the workers in the Gilbert location will be new hires, according to the Arizona Republic.
The new call center will follow a ramping-up of the firm’s advertising efforts, which include television advertising during the Super Bowl.
