DoubleClick, Inc., New York, has named president and COO Kevin Ryan chief executive officer, replacing Kevin O’Connor in that position. O’Connor will retain his title as chairman. Ryan was also named to DoubleClick’s board of directors.
Ryan, who during the past year had been taking on the CEO’s functions, will continue running the company’s day-to-day operations, while O’Connor will focus on new market development and strategic planning.
Ryan joined the company in 1996 as its chief financial officer. He had previously been senior vice president at United Media.
