DoubleClick Announces Insight Awards’ Online Ad Winners

DoubleClick Inc. has announced the winners of its first annual Insight Awards for outstanding achievement in online advertising, e-mail and multi-channel marketing.

For the Best Online Advertising Campaign, TBWA/CHIAT/DAY won for its Absolut Rich Media campaign, which was successful in creating brand awareness for Absolut and drove traffic to five Absolut online sites.

Digitas took second place in this category for its American Express Blue for Music campaign.

The Best E-mail Advertising Campaign was awarded to Trahan, Burden & Charles Inc. for its Wall Street Journal’s Career.com Hide While You Seek campaign. The runner up in this category was Carat Interactive for its Palm i705 Launch campaign.

In the Best Multi-Channel Marketing campaign, Fallon won with its BMW: The Hire campaign. Second place went to Digitas for its Roots of Peace.org campaign.

The Insight Awards were announced at DoubleClick’s Insight 2000 conference in New York April 29 and 30. More than 100 entries were received from agencies, direct marketers and publishers. Winners were chosen from industry experts from more than 20 organizations.
