The Direct Marketing Association's International Council will honor James Thornton with a lifetime achievement award and Daniel Rutenberg as the international direct marketer of the year on June 18 -- DMA International Day.
Thornton is managing director of Mailing Lists Asia (MLA), which he founded in Hong Kong 1983. It was the first international list brokerage firm based in Asia. Rutenberg is director of marketing for the International Airline Passengers Association and responsible for loyalty marketing programs.
