Computershare Buys Financial Services Direct Mail Firm

Georgeson Shareholder Communications has purchased Alamo Direct Mail Services. Alamo provides print, mail, tabulation, and proxy solicitation services. Georgeson Shareholder will pay $15.5 million up front, and $7 million during the next three years, provided certain financial hurdles are leapt.

Georgeson Shareholder Communication is a subsidiary of Computershare. Georgeson operates call centers. The senior management of Alamo, including founder Michael Nelson, will continue in its current role with the company.
